Cannot Access Boot Menu

Thread needs solution

Is there any way I can run my DD boot disk if I can't access my BIOS or boot-up options for some unknown reason? Data on the computer isn't important; I am trying to do a clean re-install.

If you can't access the BIOS boot menu or boot order you will be left using whatever settings are currently active. If the CD drive is set to boot first then you should be okay. Otherwise, you might need to disconnect other drives to get it to boot (and this may not work -- depends on the BIOS).

In most cases, getting into the BIOS or accessing the boot menu isn't a problem. Are you having problems booting to the DD CD?
