Cannot remove or reinstall disl director

Hi all,
I have just changed to windows 7 and have installed true image 2010, and then disk director, when I tried to open disk director I got the BSOD, I had great diificulty recovering my system. I then tried to remove it via control panel which it would not do, DD is still listed in the control panel but not in Programmes!, every attempt to remove it is listed as a restore point!
when I try to install via the cd it starts off with "copying files" then "preparing to install" then there is a lot of hard drive activity and nothing! The message " Setup was interrupted before disk director could be installed. you need to restart the installer to try again, I then get exactly the same responses.
I did not have any problems when I was running XP Home.

What build of TI 2010 is installed?

What version and build of DD are you trying to install?

DD 10 does not support Windows 7 and shouldn't be installed in it. You would need to be using the latest build of DD 11 and the latest build of TI 2010.
