can't boot after installing Os Selector

Thread needs solution

Had 2 systems installed on PC, Win7 and XP

XP was not presented to choose in boot screen.

I installed Os Selector and it found XP, I choosed to boot from XP and now cannot boot at all.

I receive message "press ESC for menu, press F6 to skip menu" again and again.

Here it is written that "Acronis OS Selector Bootable Rescue Disk" can help

Could you please say, where I can download this disk or provide me with other instructions?

What version of DD/OSS did you install?

The disc you normally need is the standard DD CD (created with DD) that includes the OSS programs. This allows you to boot to it and manage OSS (reactivate, reinstall, etc.).

Otherwise, if you have a Windows 7 or Windows XP installation CD/DVD available, you could boot to it and repair the MBR code (fixmbr from the Recovery Console if using XP or bootrec /fixmbr from the Command Prompt if using Windows 7). Note that you would need to have the correct partition set Active before booting. Also, if you previously had installed Windows XP and Windows 7 using the Windows Boot Manager (a Microsoft dual-boot setup), you would normally want to restore the Windows 7 MBR code and not the XP code.

If you need more specific help, please provide more details on how the system is configured and the steps used when installing XP and Windows 7.
