Can't boot Ubuntu OS Selector

Thread needs solution

My computer is a Dell XPS 720 with two 500gb hard drives in RAID 0 . I've Windows 7 pro installed on it and Acronis OS Selector can boot it without any problems.

With Disk Director i've made a few changes :
- resize windows 7 to a partition of 600Gb
- created an 8gb partition for swap
- created an 50gb partition for ubuntu
- let the rest free

Then i've installed Ubuntu 8.04 (x64) from live cd (i used dmraid) on the 2 differents partitions.

The problem i have is that grub boot loaders didn't install. I don't know why and i decided to make an entry into Acronis OS Selector by my self.

It's still do not work. Can someone check my attached files and tel me what'is wrong ?
Or maybe the install of ubuntu didn't work ? I've red on Internet that installing a linux OS on a RAID 0 system is not recommanded and verry difficult to install.

I had the same problem with GRUB not installing correctly. However, I'd rather have it do that than mess up my RAID.

You should just need to install GRUB manually to the Ubuntu partition and OSS should pick it up automatically.

Basic instructions can be found in this post.
