Can't resize disk C on Windows 7 x64

Thread needs solution

Details see attached pictures.
I resize disk D(reduce 50GB):, and move the unused space(50GB) to disk C:
Please let me know I did some thing wrong.

It's best not to try and do procedures like this in one run. Do the resizing of D: and then move the unallocated space next to C: and then resize C. Also, I recommend doing the resizing from the DD CD since this gives you more control than the "reboot" method.

Have you run chkdsk /f on D: to check for any file system errors?

It's recommended to create an Entire Disk Image backup before making partitioning changes (just in case anything goes wrong). Hopefully, you have one.
