Cloning with ARSM

The directions for cloning in DD11 say a clone of a drive cloned with Acronis True Home program may not be able to boot. I once had ATI installed and I still have a local primary drive formatted with Ext2, the Linux format. I don't have Linux installed otherwise. Is the the ARSM that is meant in Disk Directions cloning instructions? If so, can I just delete this without causing any complications with Disk Director?
