Conversion main volume to logical

Thread needs solution

Hello,

My PC is running Windows 10, 64 bits.
The hard drive has 4 primary partitions:
'PQSERVICE' 22.5 GB
'SYSTEM RESERVED' 100MB
'PACKARD BELL' (C :) 300 GB
'DATA' (D :) To 1,504

I want to split the volume (D :), but before that I have to convert the primary volume to logical.
I use Acronis Disk Director 12 build 3270. The conversion operation will start.
But after reboot asked the PC, I see that the convertion has not done and I find the partition (D :)
always in the 'main'

Checks carried out:

- No disk errors
- Repair ADD 12
- Uninstalling and reinstalling ADD 12

Several conversion failed attempts

What should I do ?

Thank you for your help

Chris

Hello Chris,

Thank you for your posting! Have you tried to perform the conversion under Acronis Bootable Media? Does it also fail to complete the operation? If the task also fails under the bootable media, could you please attach Acronis System Report created from the media after the issue has been reproduced and two pictures (disk layout in Acronis Disk Director und in Windows Disk Management).

Thank you,
