Copied Disk Missing System and Boot Attributes

Using the bootable recovery CD, I copied my boot partition to a new drive, and then made the new drive partition active. In Disk Director 11, it warns that the copied partition does not have System or Boot attributes. I find no way to set those attributes.

Now when I boot Windows on the original boot device (NOT the copy) and look in Disk Director 11 in the Windows GUI, it shows both drives have boot and system attributes.

Is this a bug in the Recovery disk version?
