Copying system partition fails but retry copying forever everytime Windows boots
I installed ADD11 Home and True Image Home on Win7 x64. I had successfully done many partition operations using ADD11 before, e.g. parition add/remove, resizing, etc. But yesterday I tried to copy the C: system partition to another disk (I want to use a new big disk instead of the old small disk), this requires reboot. However somehow this fails. Then I did some other partition operations (which doesn't require reboot) and they succeed. Later I tried again copying the system partition. After reboot the ADD11 Home console appears up and reports that some configuration files and objects are missing, and prints out "Rebooting xxx" and "Exiting xxx". In theory it should reboot the machine automatically, but actually the screen stalls there. Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't work so I have to Power off the machine and restart the machine. However ADD11 appears up again to retry the same operations (even in Safe-mode). Of cause this fails again, and the machines stalls there again. This silly process (power off -> restart -> ADD11 appears up -> fails -> stalls) repeats forever and thus locks up the system.
My question is, how to disable ADD11's attemp to do any work while Win7 is rebooting. Does this auto-running enablement reside in the registry file? What's the registry key? I can attach the disk to another machine, and operate the registry hive file there.
Thanks.

You should also be able to run regedit from a WinPE DVD Command Prompt and fix the problem. This could be the Windows DVD or any other WinPE 3.0 CD. It's usually easier not to have to move the drive.
