DD Home, Workstation or Advanced Server?

Thread needs solution

I just need a way to clone my laptop hard drive and my server at home. My server is Server 2008 and is just for testing. Can i use any of the DD products to clone the server hard drive? I'm planning on just using the bootable media and dont care to install anyting on the server or laptop.

I guess what I'm curious about is the differences between all these versions? The marketing on Acronis's website is very non-technical and doenst go into detail about the real differences, other than saying it supports Server 2008R2 for Advanced Server which isnt saying much if your not going to install the product since most partitions are NTFS on Windows workstations and servers.

The only difference is that workstation (and home too) version will not install on server OSes, and by license agreement bootable disk made by workstation version is not supposed to be used in a machine with server os installed, that's why there is little about its techical ability to use workstation version with server OS.
