DD10 - Identify Unallocated Space?

Thread needs solution

When I attach my USB 750GB HDD (three primary, non active partitions of of 200GB, 64GB and 435GB) to my Win 7 computer and run DD10, it shows that there is 7.844MB unallocated space at the end of the last partition. When I connect the drive an XP computer and run DD10, it does not show the 7.844MB unallocated space on the drive.
When I run Acronis Report (on either computer), it indicates that the last partition has an error (E) but when I run chkdsk (on either computer) it finds no errors.

Do you have DD 10 installed in Windows 7? If so, please understand that DD 10 doesn't support Windows 7 and it may cause problems.

Small amounts of free space being shown or not may vary depending on the version and system. Windows may also affect it since DD adjusts settings for different versions. In any case, that amount of free space is fairly normal.

When you are checking the drive using DD 10 are you booting to the DD 10 CD?

Are all of the other sizes being displayed the same (drive size, partition sizes, etc.)?

Does it state what the error is?
