DD11 Failed to obtain actual information about the disk sub-system
Hello,
Here is my situation. I was formatting and editing another disk using the EaseUS Partition Manager software. Once that was completed (And it was successfully done, the other hard drive works.) my laptop crashed, gave me a blue screen and rebooted, after that the hard drive became unusable, the two partitions (Main OS and a second Data partition) disapeared, all it found was the recovery partition that comes installed. After numerous attempts using the recovery console and every other tool from windows, I took out the hard drive and plugged it into another computer via USB. Windows Disk Manager detects the drive and I can see and access the Recovery partition, my other two partitions are listed there but i can't do anything with them. (Attached Image 1).
I have now installed the trial version of Disk Director 11, and once i plug in my hard drive i get an error that it 'failed to obtain actual information about the sub system' and the details lists a few more errors (Attached Image 2), after searching the knowledge base I've found nothing.
I would love to be able to save the partitions, but at the very least I would like to save all the information.
Let me know if you need to know any specific information about my hardware of OS to perhaps have an idea of what i could do.
I know that this error was not caused by your software but i was wondering if maybe there is someway that it could help me solve my issue. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
