DD11 rescue: "Failed to obtain actual information.."

Thread needs solution

For the second time in as many weeks, DD11 has borked my system partition.
(Running W7 Home Premium)

This time is a real doozy though. Booting to a thumb drive created by "Acronis Bootable Media Builder", DD11 reports "Failed to obtain actual information about the disk sub system", (log copy below). Trying to use the Recovery Expert produces an error (E000101F4) that it has detected unsupported drives. Apparently it doesn't support Windows Dynamic Disks. Similarly, Ghost doesn't see any drives, the original Windows 7 install disc doesn't see any drives, nothing. How the hell can I get back to where I was?

I would like to report a similar issue with DD 11 Home , following changing a motherboard to a foxconn P45al series using intel quad core porcessor and windows XP with service pack 3. I get the message Failed to obtain actual information about disk subsystem.
and the following errors Code: 9,764,873(0x950009)
Module: C:\Program Files\Acronis\DiskDirector\mmsBundle.dll
Message: Failed to create View.

Code: 3,539,346(0x360192)
Message: Fdisk operation has failed.

Code: 1,055,748(0x101C04)
Message: Object 'ID' cannot be found.

Previously it recognised the drives and the serial ATA seagate maindrive, various usb drives, and the two dynamic drives in the Raid array. but obviously not now
Also I have an issue with Acronis true image 2011 , this loads and when I want to clone a main drive shows me the drives inc USB drives which I use as back ups of the main program drive. Unlike the DD program.
However when I run the disk clone program, soon after I click 'proceed' it says atarted and then an error message it says cloning failed!
I am at a loss as how to proceed

HI, was there any solution for the above? I am getting exactly the same error message as Colin Rees

I'm on windows 7 64 bit and had to replace my motherboard. I have installed a new disk for the OS and still have my 2 raid 0 pairs (so five disks in total)

Windows OS works just fine and can access, read and write all disks; but DD11 (update 2) cannot 'see' any disks. 2 of the disks (2 TB size) are GPT.

Acronis recovery expert can see them! so why can't DD?

Thanks in advance
