DD12 - Dynamic GPT disk will not convert to Basic

My System disk (win 7 Ultimate) is a DYNAMIC GPT (H/W = WDC WD20EARS-00MVWB0) and i want to clone it onto an SSD disk to speed up system startup. Therfore I am trying to convert it to Basic MBR so i can clone it

I right click on the disk and select Convert to Basic. I commit the change and it says requires a ReBoot - which it then proceeds to perform

When the system comes back up it is still a Dynamic GPT disk.

I have 4 other disks on the PC that are all Basic GPT disks (3 x 2TB and 1 x 1TB)

Any suggestions

The scenario looks common and was tested.

You can try to update Acronis Disk Director to the latest build (3270) and try to convert the disk again.

If it does not help, please contact our Support team for further investigation.
