Disk Director 12 Blue Screed of Death

Thread needs solution

I have a Lenovo Thinkstation E30 with TrueImage 2012 and Disk Director 11 installed on Windows 7. I did a clean uninstall of a DD 11 through Control panel and installed DD 12. The install completed without errors and rebooted. During the windows boot I got a Blue Screen of Death. Booting in safe mode likewise caused a BSOD. I had to restore a Trueimage backup to recover. I have attached a System Info report.

Hello Ken,

the issue will be investigated within a support case you opened.

Thank you.

Hallo Ken,

I also encountered this problem. Last friday I bought the new version (DD12), because I assumed it would support my 3TB intenso external USB 3.0 drive, which wasn't supported by DD11.
I deinstalled my DD11 and installed the DD12. The installation completed without errors and requires a rebooting of the operating system.
During rebooting the boot process suddenly stops and was automatically initiated again. I gave it another try but without success.
A safe start of the operating system was also not possible, as it, like above, also shuts down and was reinitiated.
I rebooted again and switched off the automatic reboot. After that I got a BLUE SCREEN and the message (booting process stopped to prevent demage of your computer... or similar).
I had to restore my latest backup to get my operating system back to work.

My system components are:
Win 7 Professional
Toshiba SSD (Drive C)
