Disk Director and Unmovable File
Thread needs solution
In Windows 7 there is a "Shrink" function. However, it is limited to 50% of the disk size, AND it will not shrink past the point at which there are unmovable files, which is why I'm looking into Disk Director.
I want to clarify that DD WILL be able to handle these unmovable files (the system files I guess?).
I am using a Toshiba L655 S5078 with i5 processor and 4Gb RAM running Windows 7. The hard drive is approximately 500Gb. I want about 50-100Gb on the C: drive with the remainder on a D: drive. The "unmovable files" appear to be right in the middle of the disk.
Can Disk Director handle this operation without any problems occurring regarding the OS?
Thank you for your assistance.
