Disk director suite 10 build 2160 sees drive as full

Thread needs solution

I have used this program on windows 7 successfully to create a backup partition on an acer laptop... I recently purchased a Compaq (HP) laptop and it resizes but does not create a new partition saying there is no space on the drive to do this... (only about 280GB to create a 50GB partition)

Help!

Anything I can do to create my backup partitiion?

I am currently downloading an pdate.. (couldnt locate it before with trouble locating it) hopefully it will sort it out

No the update states that the product detects licence restrictions and cant install... now surely this cant be an administration for windows issue as I should be logged on as an administrator... not had this issue with windows 7 when used on the other machine...

Hello Phillip!

Thank you for finding time to open the thread regarding this inconvenience.

I regret to inform you that Acronis Disk Director 10.0 does not support Windows 7. Thus you may encounter different types of issues which we will not be able to resolve, since Acronis Disk Director 10.0 is not supposed to work with this OS.

I would suggest you to test our Acronis Disk Director 11.0 Beta. You can find all the information and download links here.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you.

I have the same problem. 2160 seems to work but build 2288--does ;not. Maybe the reason is to sell the newer version.

If you want a good partition program..FREE...Try Paragon or Easeus...they work. Some are FREE.
