Please excuse me my english is not so good, but I hope you can understand my question.

I have install today the software and I make a media rescue CD Linux version.
I download the newest version on Acronis homepage after my registration.
When I start my PC with this CD, the loaderinfo cames and the menu you can say,
start diskdirector 11 or the system (Win7 x64). I start the diskdirector. A little time
later I see the window with the message "... suche Netzwerverbindung". Then the
main window with the partition comes for about 1 second and then I have a blank screen.
My PC began to restart (reboot), with the same problem.
My hardware has a Intel chipset with AHCI mode in the BIOS. Please help me.

Years before Acronis has some problem with the AHCI mode. Before you start the CD
you must change the BIOS for IDE Mode. AHCI mode don't works. I hope Acronis
has correct this problem in the new version of DiskDirector.

Looks like the issue occurred due to some glitch of bootable media. We can solve it by using the updated one, which was built on another loader. Could you please try the following?

  1. Download the latest bootable media from your account
  2. Burn it onto the CD
  3. Boot your machine from it and see whether the issue persists

This should solve the problem.

Hallo Yana.
I make this and I have the same problem. I found a different between the version that I make with the program built in media builder and the version that I download. With the internal mediabuilder I have a menu that ask me for DiskDirector or System boot. In the downloaded version from 22. June 2010 I miss this menu.
When I start an other program like TrueImage 11 from the Linux boot CD the Linux start is not the same. At TrueImage I have some dots on the screen and than start the program, and all is o.K. Please help me. Thanks.
