DiskDirectorSuite10.0.2241_s_de causes Blue Screen, SYMDS.SYS during Start

Thread needs solution

Hi,
on 3 different machines (1 PC and 2 Notebooks) I got now a blue Screen when I start the Disk Director Suite. The Blue Screen pointed out a file namend SYMDS.SYS on Adress F745DA64.
Two-three weeks ago, the Disk Director works on all maschines fine so I guess a common cause like an incompatibility with an recend Windows XP Undate or the new version of Norton Internet Security 20.3.
Has anybody the same problem or an idea?

A simple test would be to remove NIS from one of the systems.

Norton has had issues with this error with many versions.

Often it is caused by conflicts with other drivers installed on the systems, bad memory, etc.

Since this is occurring on more than one system, I would think this is related to NIS (as you have also).

Now I was in touch several times with the Norton support and the forum and I tried many things. Deinstalling both, Norton with a special removal tool and Acronis Disk Director 10. Than reinstalling them in different sequence, first Acronis or first NIS. The result is alöways the same and on 3 different systems.
Acronis Disk Director 10 and NIS 2012 together runs fine.
Acronis Disk Director 10 and NIS 2013 together gives a blue screen when starting the Disk Director.
Is there anybody who runs the Disk Director together with Norton Internet Security 2013 in a WinXP environment without blue screen?

I have now installed the Disk Director Version 11 and have tested it with NIS 2013 in severall ways. Here is none incompatibility, this both Versions works fine.

Thank you for the update.
