"Installer has encountered an unexpected error... may indicate a problem with this package... code is 2755."

Anybody know what this means?

What build of DD are you trying to install?

What OS and Service Pack level are you using?

Are any other Acronis programs installed? If so, what are they?

Have you tried redownloading the installer in case the one you have is corrupted?

I redownloaded (is that really a word?) and it worked. Just now got everything back up and running.

PartitionMagic had really messed things up. DD saved me.
