FIX: OS Selector does not detect XP AND may have Install issues

Thread needs solution

Symptoms...
- OSS does not install properly to System drive C:
- OSS install must be run 2 times to install CUSTOM to Data drive D:
- OSS does not detect XP after finally getting a good install on D:

System: Single XP installation on C:, Data partition D:

Cause...
C:\boot.ini was missing. (I did not notice the error message on boot because it was too quick to read. XP boots OK without it in a typical installation and the message may not be noticed.)

Fix...
Restore file from boot.ini.back in C:\Windows\pss\
OSS then installed OK and detected XP

Hope that helps someone.
