Hellp! removed DD9 and now get NTFS errors

Thread needs solution

Hello All,

Do you still have to have Acronis DD installed after you reallocate disk space?
I reallocated 90GB of free space from Drive C: to a new drive D:, now i have a c: with 40gb and d: with 90gb. After doing this I removed DD9, a couple of days later I started getting NTFS errors on the D: drive rendering unusable until chdsk ran after a reboot, Could it be because I removed DD9 from that machine?

Thanks

No, it wasn't because you removed DD.

It's more likely because DD created an NTFS formatting that isn't quite right for your version of Windows.

I never used DD 9, but most of the builds of DD 10 have this problem, especially when Vista or Windows 7 are involved.
