[Help]how to recover my data?after changing the disk volume.

Thread needs solution

I used acronis disk to changing my disk volume,

E: 80G to 60G
F: 100G to 120G.

however, after changing , I cannot access my disk F , because I should format F....

Now , how i can recover my disk F data?????

If you haven't already formatted the disk DONT!

Was the E: partition successfully resized smaller?

Do you have a backup of the data on the F: partition? If not, you may want to consider creating a sector-by-sector backup before proceeding with any recovery attempts. Important: Having a sector-by-sector backup image is highly recommended. There is a good chance of data loss if a recovery attempt goes wrong.

What build of DD are you using?

You may be able to recover the old partition by deleting the current F: partition (DO NOT wipe it) and then running the Recover Partition wizard. If it finds the old partition (the 100GB one), recover it. Note that you may need to do a Manual recovery and run a Complete search (the Fast method may not find it -- it may only find the new 120GB partition).
