How do I move Win7 OS partition to replace bootable XP partition?
I can't find any instructions on how to do this. I have a dual boot system. XP Pro is installed on one partition and Win7 Pro on another. I bought a new drive and successfully reduced the size of the XP Pro Partition and enlarged my Win 7 partition since it's the only one I use now. In Disk Director, if I select the XP Pro partition, it states that it is bootable, and if I remove it I may not be able to boot my system. The Win 7 partition does not say that it's bootable (even though I can boot into it with Windows dual boot) Why can't I delete it, move my Win Pro partition and make it bootable?? I can't find anything in the help documentation addressing this issue. I don't want to have to reinstall Win 7 and jump through all the hoops to reinstall all my software.
btw - I'm using a Windows dual boot, not an Acronis OS selector.
Any help?
Thanks

Hello Doug,
you just need to make Windows 7 partition an active one (User Guide p.36) and remove Windows XP partition.
If machine doesn't boot into Windows after that you will need to repair Windows boot loader manually.
Thank you.

Thanks Anna! I'll have to admit that even that sounds a little scary, but I'll find me a good day to work on it after a full backup when I have plenty of time to devote to the project.
