How long does a partition resize take and is my OS damaged now?
Thread needs solution
Hello,
I just resized my system partition from 100 MB to 350 MB. Disk Director said it required a reboot so I rebooted. Now, the system appears to hang upon boot-up. The last driver loaded by windows is classpnp.sys (Windows 7 Pro 64 bit).
A few questions.
1. Is it in the process of resizing the partitions and isn't in fact hung? IE how long does the resizing take and when is it done in the boot-up process?
2. Is my OS damaged and is it recoverable?
Thanks a million!

Actually, the system works but the partition resize failed. Any ideas why it didn't resize?

Nevermind, I just go easeus free and it worked and I didn't even need to reboot!
