How to make a cloned Vista partition bootable?

Thread needs solution

Hi
My PC is currently set up to triple-boot Vista and two XPs. The partitions are:
- P1: Vista (primary)
- P2: XP (primary)
- P3: XP (primary)
- P4: Data (logical)
- P5: (copy of P1, logical)
I used True Image to create an image of my P1 and restored it to P5. Although I can unhide P5 and see the Vista installation on it, I can't make it bootable. I've tried running the OS Selector Wizard but it says it can't find an OS in the partition.

So - how can I make P5 into a bootable Vista partition?

Thanks

Jerry

What version of DD are you using?

What version of TI are you using?

You may just need to fix the hidden sectors value for the Logical partition and add the entry to OSS manually. Drive letter assignments may also need to be adjusted.
