Identification of an external hard disk

Hi,

I have bought a new exernal harddisk Transcend Storejet 3 TB and I wanted to arrange partitions with Acronis Disk Director 12. But although Windows 8.1 recognize the disk I have no identification by Acronis Director. How can I identificate this hard disk ?

I wanted to make 2 partitions (a small with FAT32 and a larger one with NTFS). The disk is now partitioned as FAT32.
