Installation of OS won't start on DDS11 prepared HDD

Thread needs solution

Hi All, we were using Arconis TI and DDS in the past few years to our complete satisfaction. Great products. Since I switched to DDS11 I encountered the following problem.
I work with rescue media containing:
- DDS 11 (bld 216)
- TI 2010 (bld 7046)
- TI 2010 PP (bld 7046)

Got new computer for installing. Booting from rescue medium starting DDS11.
On first HDD I create a NTFS primary partition (set to active) of size 80 GB finishing with a quick format.
All other HDDs left unpartitioned and empty.
Remove the rescue medium from drive.
Booting from OS installation CD/DVD and begin installing Windows Server 2003 SP2.
The files were copied without problem onto HDD.
An automatic reboot occurs and installation should continue, but ...
the boot ends up in a black screen with blinking cursor in upper left corner followed by some dots.
All subsequent reboots (with and without switching off computer) end with same status.
I tried this with several different hardware and different OSs all with same result.

To fix it I booted from an older rescue media containing DDS 10.
Decreasing partition without reboot and increasing it again to former size.
Now the next computer reboot continues installing OS without additional changes.
There was no change to fix with DDS11 rescue medium

I mentioned this in beta forum already, the support team stated that the issue could be reproduced and will be fixed in final release. Unfortunatelly it wasn't.

Any ideas?

Regards, Juergen

Hello Juergen,

We're terribly sorry for the inconvenience.

Indeed, our testers were able to reproduce, however the Development Team is still working to fix it. Please accept our apologies, it takes more time than we expected.

I'll surely update this thread once I have any information.

Thank you.
