Hi all,

I am trying to make a second XP installation (system_a) next to my "old one" (system_a). Both shouldn´t see each other and have drive letter "C:". I am using Disc Director 10 . I have done what is told in the German manual, section 9.1 (http://tinyurl.com/3yq87m5). I think it´s comparable to section 8.2.2 in the English manual (http://tinyurl.com/3y573lw).

Finally, although I´ve hidden the system_a during installation of system_b, system_a does not appear in OSS after the installation of system_b. I switch to DD and recover the partition (obviously no problem) but I cannot motivate system_a to appear in OSS more.

Can you help me?

Was system_a showing in OSS before you installed system_b?

Did the system_a OSS menu entry just get hidden?

It sounds like you can successfully switch between system_a and system_b using DD. Is that correct? If so, it may just be that OSS is having a problem, though I don't know why it would lose system_a if it existed already.

Can you post a screenshot of what DD shows (in Manual Mode) for your drive and a copy of the BOOTWIZ.OSS file?

Sorry, it seems that the problem was only concerned to the windows XP version I tried to install. Before I tried Dell-CD. Now I have tried enterprise edition from my company and it works as expected.
