Installer crash

Thread needs solution

I just purchased the upgrade to Disk Director 11 Advanced.

The installer immediately crashes with a Runtime Error.

I have repeated the download a couple of times, clearing the browser cache between times, with the same result.

So I downloaded the trial. It does not crash, though I haven't completed the installation yet (I went back to trying the real version again).

I would have reported this through support channels, but when I went to the support website, it only offered me support for version 10 -- and helpfully pointed out that my support for that expired a long time ago, and didn't give me any option but to post the problem here.

Not only that -- I find in the FAQs that it does not support EFI systems. Um, BIOS is, like, dead. I would not buy a BIOS system today -- I just bought 3 UEFI systems. EFI has been around now for what, over a decade?

I am running Windows 7 SP1 x64, up to date, with an SSD system drive and 1T WD Barracuda rotating second drive, 16 GB RAM, and a Asus P8P67 Motherboard.

The trial version installs successfully, using my purchased key and my prior product key.

But it seems you don't do anything I need to do, like convert a boot volume to GPT or resize (or even recognize) an ext4 filesystem.

Remote management features are cool, but I'd settle for working installers and support for current operating systems and hardware.

Are these coming soon, or shall I just ask for my money back?
