Is it possible to unite two main disks (yellow) into one?

Thread needs solution

I have a netbook which has devided disk into C and D. but C is too small with 3,75 Gb.
I want to expand it by uniting it with D?

Is it possible to unite two main disks, not logical disks (yellow) into one?

Please help!

If the partitions are on the same physical drive, it can be done using the Merge feature of DD. However, this option can sometimes cause problems (including serious data loss). Make sure to create an Entire Disk Image backup of the drive before you try it.

Manually removing space from D: and adding it to C: by resizing the partitions is recommended.
