Is it safe to cancel a partition spliting -- Urgent help needed

Thread needs solution

I'm using DD server 10.0 to split a 140G partion to be 40G and 100G, but I have done something wrong: the data I want to keep in the first new40G partiion was moving to the 2nd 100G partition. After found it's already run for 2 hours, and it's very slow, after 2 hours the progress bar show about 60% completed.

I plan to cancle it, but I'm not sure if it's saft to cancle this operation? After cancle will the disk back to the previous 140G total partition without any data lost pls?

Thank you in advance for saving me.....

Hello Jing Wang,

Thank you for posting this question, I will do my best to assist you.

I am afraid, if you cancel this operation the data will be lost. Just in case, it is always best to create a full backup of the partitions you try to modify with Acronis Disk Director prior to any operations.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
