Merge Partition Error

I'm trying to merge 2 NTFS partitions on the same disk into 1 partition. Disk Director 11 Home fails with the below information. It appears to be a windows system restore files that are preventing the merge. I'm assuming i do not need them but have no idea how to remove them?

There are files and folders that cannot be processed because they are compressed. These are the following:

I hope you have a backup image of both partitions. I really recommend against using the Merge feature because it can cause the data in one or both partitions to be lost if it fails. I prefer doing the Merge manually by resizing the partitions (in multiple steps, if necessary). Only one partition at a time is at risk this way.

Have you tried deleting the existing Restore Points?
