'merging' volume feature not working.

I hardly ever use this product. I want to remove/merge one of the partitions with the main one. Although the screen shows DD appears to recognize it, there appears to be no sign it's there from the 'wizard'. Please see the attached screenshot document.

Thanks for any input.

One last thing....I want to merge the 'unallocated' partition with the main/C partition.

Don't know whether or not this is relevant, but the HDD is an SSD (Samsung 840 EVO) and I run Windows 10 OS on a 64 bit PC.

Hello,

The disk has 2 MB of unallocated space and you want to merge it with the volume C, right? The unallocated space at the end of GPT disk is the backup area and I do not recommend you to delete it. But if you want, you can right-click the volume C and select Resize option. Then move the right slider to the right and click OK -> Commit pending operations.
