Missing Operations After Upgrade
I was using Disk Director 11 Home (build 2121) successfully on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit. After a hard drive crash I installed Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit on a new drive and reinstalled Disk Director 11 Home and downloaded the newest update (2343). Now I find that under the Operations menu the following are missing:
Add mirror
Mark as active
Change cluster size
Hide
Check
Defragment
Edit volume
I tried reinstalling the original, earlier build and found that I was still missing these functions. Is this some kind of a problem with the 64-bit Windows 7?

Yes, I have selected a partition. All of the other operations appear in the left column as usual, but Add mirror, Mark as active, Change cluster size, Hide, Check, Defragment and Edit Volume are all completely missing from the list. I have uninstalled then re-installed earlier builds with the same result. I have downloaded the original files direct from Acronis with the same result. Totally puzzled.

Can you post a screenshot of DD with a partition selected? And one of the drive selected? It may help to see them.

Here's a screenshot with Disk 2 selected. I uninstalled DD again and this time downloaded and installed the current Demo copy from the Acronis website, Build 11.0.2343 (Update2). This time 3 of the missing 7 operations returned. It's still missing Add mirror, Check, Defragment and Edit Volume.

DD doesn't appear the be detecting the version of Windows correctly (it just says "Microsoft Windows"). Also, I do see the Edit Volume option on your screenshot. The Check and Defrag options both use the standard Windows tools. Perhaps they're not there because it's not detecting Windows correctly. I think Mirror is only available on Dynamic Disks.
If you boot to the DD CD does DD correctly show the version of Windows? Do the available options show up differently?
I don't know why the demo version would show things differently that the full version. Perhaps something is/was corrupted in the installation.
