Not recognizing increased hard drive space

I recently increased the hard drives on my Dell Dimension E520 from 250GB's to 1 TB's. I have a RAID configuration and loaded one then rebooted and loaded the other which mirrored the data with no problem except that my computer will not recognize the increased drive space.

A friend recommended this program as a solution but I had no success. The BIOS recognizes the increased space but Windows XP still says I have 250GB's.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Upgrading the drives the way you did may have "stuck" them at 250GB. I've always used an image backup and then a restore with resize to change both RAID 1 drives at the same time.

Have you checked if there's any RAID software for the controller that will resize the array? Many have a Windows program that include migration options and other features.
