Hi!

I have a problem:
I use Acronis Disc Director 10. When I modified a CF card, partition size, the operation completes, the windows can not see the card reader. Two other card even though it happened. These card readers on another hardware still works well. The Acronis continue to see the CF card and hard disk partitions, others do not. Why? What's the solution?

Op System: Vista SP2
Hardware: HP Compact 6720s

Is it the CF card that Windows can't see or is it the media card reader itself?

Have you removed the card and disconnected the reader? Perhaps Windows would redetect them when reconnected.

Have you tried plugging the media card reader into a different USB port?

Have you tried cleaning and resetting the CF card using the Windows DISKPART program? Make sure you have a backup of anything on the CF card you want to keep (this will remove the partitions from the CF card).

Does the CF card have multiple partitions on it?

I've seen flashdrives get messed up where either only Windows or only DD/TI would see them. I assume the same could happen to other removable flash media.
