OS Selector remains in the demo version after licensing

Hello,

  After successfully testing of the demo version of Acronis Disk Director Suite I have bought the license for it in the Acronis web shop. I have received the email with a download link and the license key. I have downloaded and installed the Disk Director Suite over my demo version. Disk Director works fine and I can see my license key in the “About” menu.

  So I installed the OS Selector over my demo version too. But what a surprise: OS Selector still says, it is a demo version. In OS Selector’s “About” menu I can not see my license key. I decided to uninstall OS Selector and to install OS Selector again. Unfortunately the same behavior of OS Selector !!!

  What did I wrong ? Do I need a separate license key for OS Selector ? I can not believe it –OS Selector is a part of the Disk Director Suite, isn’t it ?

OSS uses the same key as DD.

Did you do a complete uninstall of OSS?

Did you check for the main hidden BOOTWIZ folder and make sure it was removed before you reinstalled?

You might try a repair/update install.

Hallo,

I have solved the problem through complete uninstall of OS Selector and Disc Direcotor. After it I have installed first the Disc Director and then OS Selector. Both products work fine. OS Selector recognises now, that this is now a licensed version.
