OSS always boots to 2nd OS, "ESC" is Ignored

Just what the subject says. Neither ESC nor F6 work. What next?

My system does not accept "ESC" nor F6 key to break into the OSS menu, it just always boots the second OS on the disk (which is probably the default).

I don't know how countdown timer got set to zero, it appears that the product installer did it that way because I did not change any settings.
