Partition deleted - help possible?

Thread needs solution

Hello,

i a "second" of stupidity i deleted a partition - approx. 200 GB, this was part of a 500 GB-disk. I wanted to delete a 7,80 MB-partition (did i mention that i was silly? :D) and don't know how this could happen - maybe focus was on an other part of this disk - anyhow i deleted it.

(btw: what is the need of this 7,844 MB-partitions? Some discs have it, some not)

Of course ;-) i had a backup of (most of) this files, but some files/programs i didn't backup last days/weeks, so some "stuff" (games, videos e.g.) are lost. Not a real problem, but annoying.

So is there any possibility to restore this part of the disk?

Many thanks for help and answer.

Best regards!

The "7,844MB" partition sounds more like the normal small unallocated space usually located at the beginning of a drive. It's not a partition and so can't be deleted. As you now know, a real partition was selected when you did the delete.

If you're using DD, you can run the Recovery Wizard on the space that held the deleted partition. DD should be able to find it and recover it.
