Partition before or after cloning

Hi

 

I just got Disk Director 12

If I want to make a clone of my existing harddrive on to a new one,

do I have to partition the new destination drive seperately "before" I use Acronis to clone?

 

or....does not Acronis make the partitions on the destination drive automatically as it appears in the source drive?

No need to partition the new destination drive before cloning. The disk layout will be the same as on the original disk.
