Partition sizes don't match

Thread needs solution

We are running Windows Server 2008 r2 with two 465GB drives in a RAID 1 array (mirrored) and have used Disk Director 11 advanced server (bootable version) to resize the partions.

The inital setup was;

C: 40GB
D: 250GB
E: 175GB

We used acronis to resize the partitions to the following;

C: 60GB
D: 240GB
E: 165GB

"Disk Management" on the server reports the partition sizes as the new sizes we greated, however......Windows explorer shows the C: partition as still 40GB but D: and E: as their new sizes.

Any ideas why this has happened and how to resolve it?

cheers

Phil

Hopefully, you have a current backup of all the partitions involved (always recommended before making partitioning changes).

You may need to do a small resize of the affected partitions to try and get them back in sync.
