Please help me!Need old Produkt Key???

Hi Guys,

After i tried Acronis Disk Director Suite 10 Demoversion i saw that i didn´t have enough features like i wanted.I decided to upgrade to the full version.
I recieved the produkt key for my "new" version and while triying to install DD it´s asking me for the produkt key and after i pasted it into the field suddenly it asked for the produkt key of the "old" version.
There is just 1 big problem now.I never recieved a produkt key for the Demoversion.
I hope somebody can help me with my problem.

This may have been caused by installing the full version of Disk Director without first uninstalling the trial version. Try uninstalling Disk Director and clearing out your Temp folder. Reboot. Then reinstall Disk Director.

first of all thanks for the quick response.
unfortunately i tried everything what it could have been.
I uninstalled the old testversion,cleaned out the temp,cleaned and defraged the registry,rebooted the system but it still wants to have an old serialnumber!!!
I have no clue what i can do now.
I hope someone can help my with my problem i´m starting to get a little bit frustrated.

After purchase, did you download a copy of the full version of Disk Director? If so, then try contacting Acronis Support via Live Chat. See the last post in this article: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/3620

I'm sorry for the delayed response. I understand that this issue is urgent for you, since it's related to the installation of the product you've purchased recently. I will help you to resolve this issue.

The cause is that Upgrade license (which you can purchase for reduced price) is intended to upgrade from previous version of the product, not from the trial one. That's why the product keep asking for the old trial key. Generally, this request should be forwarded to our Sales Team, but let's try to resolve it with me, to avoid delay in request.

I had to re-install my up-grade version of TIH 2011 (from a CD). During the activation it asked for my new serial number (which I supplied), then it asked for old serial # (TIH 2010), which I no longer have. Of course, I can't even install TIH 2010 since I don't have a serial number. What do I do??

Your old serial number should be in your account, just download the All Serials.txt file.

If you forgot to register your old serial number wiht Acronis, then you'll need to contact Sales or a Moderator here with all your personal details.

You should remove your upgrade serial number from your post, someone might pretend to be you when talking to Acronis.

Registration Problem

I am trying to install my version of TIH 2010 Build 7160 on a new machine. I am getting the same problem that many of your users have already had, and I hope that you can get me back up again. The problem is that the install is asking me for the second registration key which I do not have. To my knowledge, I only had one copy of the registration key which I received when I purchased the software. PLease have a moderator contact me by email with a new registration solution that works. I already went ahead and installed the trial version so I can at least use the program for 30 days before I go down.

If you registered your versions of TIH to your account, all your serial numbers are available for you to download as I mentioned in post#6.

If your previous version of TIH was a 'branded' one from Western Digital or Seagate etc you need to contact Support or Sales to help you.
