Power off in middle of resize

In the process of downsizing a partition, the computer on/off power button was hit and shut the system down. When I tried to restart all I get is Err2Err3. I temporarily install a copy of Windows 7 to the secondary physical hard drive and reinstall DD11, but can't find a way to recover and complete the resizing. When I try to open the drive it indicates I need to reformat the drive to make it operational. Is is possible to recover and continuing the resizing without destroying the data?

It's not possible to continue with the resizing. You may be able to recover some of the data using recovery software, but in many cases the data is corrupted because it was being moved.

Is the original partition size showing or the new size?

Do you have a backup image of the partition?
