Procedure For Resizing C Drive And D Partition

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I've looked through the user guide but is not clear and doesn't seem to do what I want before I commit.
I want drive C & D to both equal 100GB please explain the procedure. I think I also have whats called unallocated space on drive D how do I include this into the volume space?
See attached screen shot for current setup.
Thanks.

You don't have enough free space to do what you want. You would need to remove data from D: until you had at least 45GB of free space. Then use DD to resize D: smaller from the left edge. You can then resize C: larger into the unallocated space between C: and D:.

Note that it's recommended to have a backup of the entire drive before making partitioning changes.

OK thanks, enjoy your day.

Hi again,
I've just backed up all the data on the D drive. Can you explain the procedure more clearly, in a step by step manner please?
Cheers,
Peter.
