Reducing partition size

Information please and advice please.
I have a 70GB partition with Windows XP which I would like to reduce to 60GB.
When I run the windows defrag it shows some files at the very end which are not shown as fixed.
Will Acronis Disk Director safely reduce the partition size by moving the files.

Yes. However, it's still recommended to have a current backup of the partition before making changes.

If you have TI you could also create a backup and then restore the partition smaller (instead of using DD).
