Removable disk's status is not changing to Online

Thread needs solution

good day/afternoon/evening....I have an external hdisk whose MBR i'm trying to repair...ADD 11 shows that it is actually connected, unfortunately, its status is Offline, and it's not changing even if I click the "change status to online" option....I'll be forever grateful to anyone who can help me...tia.
