[Solved]Acronis Disk Director Advanced Workstation and Acronis Backup & Revovery Workstation compatibility

Hello,

I've been using Acronis Backup & Recovery Wostation 11.5 for months without any problem at all.

Today i've tried to install a demo version of Acronis Disk Director Advanced Workstaion 11 on the same computer.

During installation, I'm getting a message saying the following:

The following applications are using the files that the installer needs to remove. You can either close these applications and click Retry, or click Continue so that the installer continues the installation and replaces these files when your system restarts.

agent.exe (PID 2104)

I am proposed 3 choices; Cancel, Continue, Retry. Whatever I choose between Continue or Retry, I'll get an installation error and installation will be halted.

So can Disk Director Advanced Workstation be installed on a computer already running Backup & Recovery Workstation, or is there some incompatibility issue?

EDIT: Well I fixed the problem. I uninstalled Acronis  B&R and deleted all it's leftovers in Program Files(x86)Common Files and ProgramFiles(x86), and user account in Administrative Tools/Users and Groups/Users .

Then I installed first Disk Director, and then B&R.

Both software are working now.

PS: I've got a 15-day trial of  Disk Director and I can't even format a single drive in FAT32... come on, what's the point if I can't even test the feature I need it for....
