SSL Connection Failed

Thread needs solution

Hello, this is my first post so I hope all goes well.

I use Acronis Disk Director 11 Home edition, running on Windows 7 64bit ThinkPad, with 8 GB of RAM. Whenever I check for updates to Disk Director I get the following error: "SSL Connection failed."

Does anyone know why I am getting this error and what the fix is?

Thank you for your help.

p.s. I tried both disabling the firewall and antivirus but the problem did not go way.

I can't answer your direct question, but, you are aware that you can re-download DD 12 from your Acronis account page.

One thing to check is if your browser settings use a proxy, I think this can sometimes cause the above error.
