IS this true, a blank screen during operations?
I just got off the phone with tech support and they said that the following is normal. Is it?
I told dd11 to resize my c partition (smaller). It said that a reboot would be required.
It rebooted the machine, the windows logo appeared, then the screen went blank.
The disk rattled and chattered for about 10 minutes, and then the system rebooted normally.
The partition was resized.
I would have expected some display saying that acronis was working, a percent complete statement, or something other than a blank screen. Is this the way this program operates?
The tech said that this was normal. If so, this is terrible. What if I was doing a complex task, or something bad happened to one of the steps. Wow! I think I should ask for my money back.

When I say a blank screen, I mean that the screen was completely black.
I did get the normal bios messages, and the initial windows screen. I'm familiar with checkdsk, and install/update messages, and this is the point in time that the screen went black. After some time the system came back. It's a good thing that my disk chatter can be heard, otherwise I would have pulled the plug in the middle of the restore.
How do you get Acronis to at lease acknowledge this as a problem and hopefully get a fix for it in the future?
